Sang Min Lim, Esq.
Sang Min Lim is a distinguished attorney with extensive experience across multiple areas of law and a proven track record of building and operating successful law firms in several states. He is widely recognized for his strategic leadership, meticulous legal analysis, and commitment to delivering practical, client-focused solutions.
Mr. Lim earned his Bachelor of Arts degree from Brown University and his Juris Doctor degree from the University of Southern California (USC). Before co-founding Limtao Law Firm, he gained hands-on industry insight as both a residential and commercial real estate agent, developing a deal-level understanding of real estate transactions from all perspectives. He currently holds a real estate broker license, further enhancing his ability to guide clients through complex real estate matters with clarity and confidence.
Mr. Lim operates several established and highly regarded law practices. His multi-state licensure and deep legal experience position him as a trusted advisor to individuals, investors, and businesses navigating sophisticated legal and transactional challenges. Mr. Lim grew up in South Korea and is fluent in Chinese, having studied the Chinese language over many years and earned HSK Level 6—the highest level of the Chinese proficiency examination—in 2014. He is dedicated to achieving meaningful outcomes for his clients through strategic counsel, decisive advocacy, and a results-oriented approach.
Leon Tao, Esq.
Leon Tao is an accomplished attorney whose practice focuses on contractual disputes, real estate litigation, and consumer protection matters, including cases arising under the California Song-Beverly Act (“Lemon Law”). He brings a strategic and well-rounded perspective to his practice, informed by extensive experience on both the defense and plaintiff sides of civil litigation.
Mr. Tao earned his Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of California, Irvine, and his Juris Doctor degree from Loyola Law School. Prior to co-founding Limtao Law Firm, he practiced at several prominent defense firms, representing corporations and insurance carriers in complex civil litigation. This experience provided him with valuable insight into defense strategies and institutional decision-making, which he now leverages to advocate effectively for wrongfully treated plaintiffs and injured clients.
After transitioning to plaintiff-side practice, Mr. Tao has represented many clients in courts, successfully handling a wide range of contractual dispute matters. Having grown up in China, Mr. Tao is fluent in Chinese, which allows him to effectively serve and communicate with Chinese-speaking clients. He is recognized for his strong negotiation skills and consistently excels in mediations and settlement conferences, delivering strategic and results-driven representation.
